logic is a projection off of shape. a flattening. do you say what you mean or do you declare your folds and textures. the latter, obviously. consider the coffee shop at eight am before your workday - a quick catch up with an old friend before logging in to slack. youโve got a knot. they see your knot. you never told them about the knot - only the curtains.
โgod i hate these curtains - i donโt know why we come hereโ you said as you sat down.
โgood morningโ your friend replies.
itโs not about the curtains, but the curtains reveal your shape. the curtains are the same shape, in fact, as your father โ who you havenโt called in months even though yesterday was his birthday. an attempt to stick it to the man, so to speak. and now that you mention it the curtains are the same shape also as the ex you havenโt talked to since you broke up. she hated you thatโs what she said โ god why is she the same shape as your dad? a bit on the nose donโt you think.

i am trying to get you to see shape. i am trying to get you to trace the patterns of knots (nots) and stretches of your self into the space of others you constantly intrude. because itโs not about the curtains or the others theyโre both inside of your mind. iโm inside your mind.

much later. that evening. unfolded. you stand in the mirror and see them, the fucking curtains again, stuck in your chest.
